In 2020 Me and my friend Curtis headed towards the Chihuahuan Dessert in Texas. We completed the Big Bend Outer loop (a total of 37 miles) in two days which was quite the challenge!!! It takes 3-5 days on average to complete! Although it was a huge change of pace and scenery, we were surrounded by endless amounts of beauty! We saw roadrunners, tarantulas, deer, skeptical amounts of bear/ mountain lion poop, and so many types of cactuses! It was a very humbling experience mentally as well as physically. I am very grateful for such an unforgettable experience and can't wait for more!
